Tenancy WA is the specialist community legal centre for tenants, dedicated to protecting the right to housing for all tenants through advocacy, advice and education. We are the central resource unit supporting Tenant Advocates across WA and we provide a state-wide advice line for tenants. We are a young dynamic organisation, successfully growing to deliver new and innovative programs.
About the Role
Tenancy WA is seeking a part time Community Legal Education Coordinator to develop and provide legal education and resources to tenants and a professional development program for Tenant Advocates, legal practitioners and the community sector. Importantly Tenancy WA is seeking an energetic, confident individual who enjoys a challenge and is interested in making a significant difference to the lives of the people we work with.
The successful applicant will:
- Be responsible for publications, social media, website content updates, stakeholder newsletters, and providing a publicity and media support role.
- Supervise volunteers and students assisting in the development of resources.
- Convene Tenancy Network meetings and take a lead role in the annual Tenancy Conference.
